Artificial intelligence-powered sales startup 11x has secured $50 million in a Series B funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz, which the company plans to announce on Monday. This latest round follows a $24 million funding led by Benchmark in September, bringing 11x's total funding to $76 million and valuing the company at $320 million. Hubspot Ventures also participated in this Series B round as the startup gains traction with its AI-powered digital workers for revenue teams.

Founded in 2022, 11x is at the forefront of a transformative approach to sales automation. Unlike traditional software solutions, 11x's platform offers AI-driven digital workers designed to handle sales representatives' essential but time-consuming tasks. The startup's first AI agent, Alice, functions as a digital SDR (Sales Development Representative), capable of generating leads, conducting research, and coordinating customer outreach. More recently, 11x introduced Jordan, a multilingual AI sales representative who can communicate in over 30 languages, manage calls, and provide rapid response times to leads—up to 10 times faster than traditional sales reps.

The startup's innovations in sales automation come at a crucial time when sales teams are overwhelmed by excessive tools and system management tasks. According to Salesforce's latest State of Sales report, only 30% of a sales rep's time is spent selling, with the remaining 70% consumed by non-selling tasks like data entry and navigating complex software. Many sales teams are now looking to reduce their tech stacks, and 11x provides a streamlined solution with its AI-powered digital workers that autonomously manage workflows typically handled by entire revenue teams.

11x's digital workers, Alice and Jordan, are not just about optimizing workflows—they represent a new paradigm in how sales work gets done. Joe Schmidt, a partner at Andreessen Horowitz, explained, "11x's approach to sales automation with Alice and Jordan isn't just about optimizing workflows. It's about creating a new model for how work gets done." This emphasis on reshaping work dynamics has given 11x a competitive edge in a crowded space, where more prominent players like Salesforce are also building AI bots for sales and customer service. Currently, 11x counts Brex, Handshake, and Airwallex among its customers, with the startup reporting $10.5 million in annual recurring revenue.

As part of its strategic growth, 11x recently acquired Opkit, an AI startup focused on healthcare solutions, to strengthen its development team. Opkit co-founders Sherwood Callaway and Justin Ko, along with product leader Keith Fearon, have joined 11x's CTO Prabhav Jain to drive the development of the new Alice 2.0. This updated version of Alice will feature fully autonomous capabilities, leveraging first-party data and adapting through continuous learning with each interaction. Designed to deliver higher efficiency and accuracy, Alice 2.0 represents the next stage in 11x's journey to create digital workers that improve over time.

11x plans to launch additional AI agents over the coming year, expanding its suite of autonomous digital workers to cover a broader range of Go-to-Market (GTM) tasks, from lead management to pipeline analytics. CEO and Founder Hasan Sukkar shared his vision for 11x, stating, "We're seeking bold innovators ready to shape the future of AI. Each new digital worker will replace the work of 11 full-time employees, managing an even broader range of GTM tasks." Sukkar, who recently moved from London to San Francisco, emphasized that the company's relocation allows it to tap into the city's deep talent pool and take advantage of its AI boom. "So many of our customers are here. There is a depth of talent," Sukkar said in a Bloomberg TV interview. "Ultimately, it's an environment where we can scale to the huge market opportunity ahead of us."

With backing from a roster of influential investors including Benchmark, Quiet Capital, SV Angel, Abstract Ventures, Lux Capital, Operator Partners, Visionaries, Activant, 20VC, 20Growth, and 20Sales, as well as industry leaders like Amjad Masad (CEO of Replit), Aaron Levie (CEO of Box), and Suhail Doshi (Founder of Playground), 11x is positioned to drive significant advancements in AI-powered sales technology. This diverse support base underscores investor confidence in 11x's ability to redefine the sales process by adding efficiency and fundamentally transforming how sales teams operate.

As 11x scales its operations and pursues aggressive growth targets, the company is clearly moving beyond software solutions, creating a new category of digital workers that perform tasks traditionally handled by multiple full-time employees. With digital agents like Alice and Jordan leading the way, 11x is set to make an indelible impact on the future of work in sales, offering a streamlined, autonomous approach that positions it as a leader in the era of AI-driven digital workers.
